Brooklyn Bishop DiMarzio is taking his flock to the Papal Conclave

BROOKLYN, NY – Brooklyn Bishop Nicholas Anthony DiMarzio is taking his flock – and everyone who wants to go – to the Papal Conclave via New Evangelization Television (NET). NET is a division of DeSales Media Group, official media outreach of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn.

NET 276x166Starting Tuesday, March 12, NET will cover the Papal Conclave with live reports by Grant Gallicho from the Vatican every day at 6:30 AM ET and 12:30 PM ET. Rev. Msgr. Kieran Harrington, V.E.,  vicar for communications, and Liz Faublas of the Currents news program will host the daily updates from NET’s Brooklyn studios. NET is also onsite keeping vigil to show you the white smoke and the announcement “Habemus papam!”

Where to watch NET
NET airs on New York City’s TimeWarner Channel 97 and Brooklyn’s Cablevision Channel 30. It’s also national on Verizon FiOS On-Demand, which includes the regions of Albany, NY; Baltimore, MD; Buffalo, NY; Boston, MA; Camden, NJ; Dallas, TX; Harrisburg, PA; Los Angeles, CA; New York City; Newark, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Providence, RI; Richmond, VA; Syracuse, NY; Tampa, FL; Trenton, NJ; and Washington, D.C.

Catholics are 25% of the U.S. population and NET programs are available to the world on NETNY.net.

Instructions for viewing NET on Verizon FiOS
(1) Hit the “On Demand” button on the remote control
(2) Click on “TV Shows” folder on the root level
(3) Select the “Religion” folder
(4) Select the “NET Catholic” folder.
