Obama losing women, young people, minorities; Expect Hillary Clinton in 2012

President Barack Obama is losing support among women, the young, “people of color” – and even the AFL-CIO dumped him. It seems he has become a liability to the Democratic National Committee (and its allies) and I expect liberal strategists to somehow maneuver Secretary of State Hillary Clinton into the DNC’s 2012 nomination for president. Their campaign logic would be that the DNC helped to elect the first black president and they will offer a new milestone: the first female president. Republicans, conservatives, and TEA parties should beware and prepare. Even though Clinton’s politics mirror Obama’s, she would be very tough to beat.

A critical bloc of Democratic-aligned voters has lurched away from President Barack Obama’s campaign and won’t come back until Democrats develop a new “narrative,” warns a new survey by a Democratic polling firm.

The bloc of “unmarried women, people of color, and younger voters — comprises a rapidly growing majority of the eligible voting population in this country … [but they] are not hearing an economic narrative that speaks to their problems and concerns or convinces them that their leaders have the ability to solve those problems,” says the Aug. 24 report titled “Creating a New Economic Narrative; Engaging the Rising American Electorate for 2012.”
